eLearning for tourism and hospitality employees

The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has recently launched the Atingi eAcademy’s Tourism and Hospitality programme, a digital capacity building programme delivered through collaboration with the private sector.

The overall vision of the programme is to provide credible, locally recognized and easy to access upskilling for the local tourism workforce. This is delivered though micro-certifications, digital badges endorsed by SATSA AID (Access, Inclusivity and Diversity) at the national level and the GIZ at the international level. The Tourism and Hospitality program consists of 45 web-based courses, covering both employee as well as entrepreneurial learning pathways.
